"And United we fall," says a reporter this afternoon after both Lemanskigrad United and Drewchester United were defeated. The final will be played at Balida City with Consacres BFC taking on Zapan Lightning for the league title. It will be on television tomorrow. We will post a link to the match feed then.
RP below. Chairmen, remember to make your nominations for the Top 11 in the forums. The voting will start on Saturday. Quite the suprise to me, and I'm sure mostly everyone. All four of the top seeds have been knocked out in one round. Still in the cup are Zapan Lightning, Lemanskigrad United, Lakia City University, and Consacres BFC.
You can go here to see the bracket and results. RP below. After a long period of talling and calculating, the Top 20 Goalscorers Table is here. The number 1 goal scorer for the 5028 season is Martin Simpson from Lemanskigrad United with 42 goals. Right behind him is Andrew Johnson from Drewchester United with 35 goals and then Alexander Heim from the Mil Rovers with 34 goals.
Your results are here. A few suprises, but nothing big. Moving on to the next round are Lakia City Dragons, Zapan Lightning, Lemanskigrad United, Ribth FC, Mil Rovers, Lakia City University, Consacres BFC, and Drewchester United.
Check the Balida Cup 9 page under the BFL tab to see the results. RP below. Daniel Cabot, CEO of Balida Television Network, has announced that they will be broadcasting the Balida Cup 9 Final on air. The channel is still up for grabs, but this means you get to watch the match live! Well, the broadcast will come on as soon as the match is over, but it's as close as you can get with the underfunded BTN.
OOC: I've decided to make the final a "real" match. The two finalist teams I'll be putting into FIFA10 and letting the CPU's play themselves. The game will all be recorded for your viewing pleasure. There it is, the last matches. Lakia pull out just enough points to win the league.
The Balida Sports Committee would like to open it's doors once again to new members. Currently the following nations hold chairs in the committee:

It's getting to the end now. There is quite the competition going on this season. Will Lakia City Dragons be the first team ever to win two BFL's in a row, or can Drewchester United win in their second time around? Or will the classics Mil Rovers and Ribth FC steal away the title at the last moment?
