Rules of Regulations of the Balida Futball League and Balida Cup

Organization of Balida Futball League
Two or more teams play one home game and one away game against every other team in the league. Wins are counted as 2 points, draws are counted as 1 point, and losses are counted as 0 points. The league champion is the team with the most points by the end of the season. The runner-up is the team with the second most points by the end of the season.

In the event of a tie, the games the two teams played against each other are reviewed. The team that scored the most points in the two matches is given one extra point. If there is still a tie, there will be a championship match to decide the winner.

Seeding for Balida Cup
The top 12 teams from the previous BFL season are put into the brackets. The top 4 teams from Division B are also qualified for the Balida Cup. The number one seed plays the number 16 seed, and it goes accordingly.

Teams will go into penalty shootouts if there is a tie after two periods of overtime.

The higher seeded team always plays at home.

External Nation Team Entry
In the 5027 season and on, teams from outside of Balida are allowed to join the BFL. Each external nation is allowed one entry per year and must have applied to become a BFL team before match day 1. If they apply after match day 1, they will be added to Division B until the next season. External nations are allowed one team PER year, which means they can enter a new team every year.

Internal Team Entry
"Internal Teams" are teams that are not playing from Nationstates. These players have joined the game and contact me via email. If you would like to conact one of these teams, just tell me in a TG and I will email them. I will then get back to you what they said. Two of these teams can enter a year, but must have played one year in Division B first.
